Representing Family-Owned Beer & Wine Distributors

Established in 1948, the Michigan Beer & Wine Wholesalers Association (MB&WWA) continues to be one of the alcohol beverage industry’s most progressive state trade associations. We proudly represent local family-owned beer and wine distributors who deliver a wide variety of beverages to licensed retailers throughout Michigan.

The Three-Tier System

The Three-Tier System consists of suppliers, distributors, and retailers. It is an important regulatory system that has been serving the American public for decades, helping to create and maintain a competitive, safe, and efficient marketplace benefiting customers. Michigan’s independent beer and wine distributors are a critical link in this system.
